HKSE BYD Brothers- BYD (1211) and BYD electronics (0285): Went Up after our bullish call.
Yesterday was the start of the new year. We spotted bullish price action for both BYD and BYD electronics. For those of you who are unfamiliar with BYD, it is a HK listed Chinese company known for making batteries and electric vehicles. Warren Buffett has about 10% stake in BYD(1211). On the other hand, BYD electronics mostly produce Handphone batteries.
We have been following BYD for quite some time and after a long retracement yesterday we saw a bullish price action and gave a call. We are vested in BYD but missed BYD electronics. Both counters have since moved up but BYD electronics had the bigger move.
